I am a community development professional who uses visual strategies and tools to facilitate communication between citizens, professionals, and policymakers. I earned a BA and MA in International Development, served in the AmeriCorps, Peace Corps-Mongolia, William J. Clinton Fellowship to India, Leadership Jackson Hole, and currently Boulder County Leadership Fellows.
The vision for my consulting business, On Board Innovations, formed while working in community development where I confronted multifaceted issues that required an understanding of local culture, economies, and input from professionals and community members. Understanding that illustrations bridge cultures, languages, and jargon, I would illustrate key concepts, which were used to communicate project goals between professionals and community members, leading to more equitable, sustainable, and compelling initiatives. |
