Bread Making
I’ve wanted to learn how to make good bread for a long time and finally started to put it to practice.
We started with being gifted a Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven and then finding a person on Facebook Marketplace who was selling a sourdough starter for $8 with bread making instructions. With a small Ball jar of bread starter, I created my first bread ball to let it rise over night.

In the morning, I shaped the bread ball and manipulated it a little bit, but this was a no-knead recipe to make it as simple as possible. After baking for a total of about 30 minutes, I had baked my very first sourdough bread.
Sourdough Bread
50 g sourdough starter
350 g warm water
500 g flour (I just use regular flour and not bread flour)
9 g salt
Starter
28 g starter
43 g room temp water
43 g all-purpose flour
